Work Underway on Historic Projects for Dera Bugti and Sui Development, Locals to Be Employed in Gas Companies: Balochistan CM

QUETTA – Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has stated that work is underway on historic development projects for Dera Bugti, Sui, and surrounding areas, with several key projects already completed. He made these remarks during a meeting with a delegation of elders, senior leaders, and youth from the Bugti tribe, where discussions focused on ongoing development initiatives, public welfare, and overall progress in the region.

The Chief Minister emphasized that the provincial government is paying special attention to improving basic facilities including education, health, communication infrastructure, and employment opportunities in the area. He said that providing employment to local people in gas companies and ensuring the welfare of the local population are among the government’s top priorities.

CM Bugti further stated that effective strategies are being adopted to utilize gas companies’ social responsibility and welfare funds on public interest projects, ensuring that these resources directly benefit the local population. He reiterated that the government is not limiting the development process to mere announcements but is strengthening the foundation of lasting progress in Dera Bugti, Sui, and adjoining areas through practical measures.

Projects related to education, health, road networks, other communication infrastructure, employment opportunities, and public facilities are being advanced on a priority basis, he added.

“The progress and prosperity of the people of this region is the government’s responsibility, and we are utilizing available resources in a transparent and effective manner to achieve this goal,” Mir Sarfraz Bugti concluded.
