Government Announces Another Major Hike in Petroleum Product Prices

ISLAMABAD – The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has announced another significant increase in the prices of petroleum products, adding to the financial burden on the public.
According to a notification issued by the Petroleum Division, the price of petrol has been raised by 3 rupees 40 paise per litre, while diesel has seen an increase of 6 rupees 72 paise per litre.
Following the hike, the new price of petrol stands at 367 rupees 75 paise per litre, while diesel will now cost 392 rupees 67 paise per litre. The revised prices will take effect from midnight tonight.
