“I’m So Confused, Brother! I Don’t Know Whose Traitor I Am” – Ex-PTI Leader Imran Ismail
KARACHI / ISLAMABAD – Former PTI leader and ex-Governor of Sindh Imran Ismail has expressed the political bewilderment faced by leaders who have parted ways with the party, saying he and his colleagues are distressed over not knowing whose traitor they are being labeled as.
In a statement posted on social media platform X, Ismail highlighted the political predicament of himself and other former PTI members who have left the party. He wrote: “I’m so confused, brother! I don’t understand whose traitor I am! This is the same situation for all those friends who were forced out of PTI – they also appear to be caught in this dilemma.”

He further elaborated that PTI workers and supporters consider them traitors because, in their view, they have aligned with the establishment. On the other hand, the establishment believes they are still sympathetic to PTI, as they repeatedly visit Kot Lakhpat Jail and file petitions in the Supreme Court for meetings with Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi.
The former governor delivered a sharp satire on the country’s current political situation, saying: “The establishment and PTI may disagree on everything, but on one point both sides are in complete agreement – that whatever happens next, no notable leadership should remain in PTI. I’m in a huge dilemma – someone please tell me, should I sit on this political motorcycle this way or that way!”
