NCCIA Obtains Six-Month Cryptocurrency Data of Young Businessman Mir Raza

ISLAMABAD:The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) has obtained cryptocurrency data belonging to young businessman Mir Raza, according to investigative sources.

Sources said authorities had requested six months of Mir Raza’s cryptocurrency data, which has also been submitted to the Judicial Commission in a format similar to call detail record (CDR) data.

Investigative sources said police have requested the NCCIA to analyze the data. The analysis is expected to determine the number of daily cryptocurrency transactions carried out over the six-month period.

According to sources, the NCCIA is expected to complete the data analysis and provide its findings to the police by tomorrow.
