Afghan National Killed, Three Injured in Alleged Firing Near Kharan Cross in Nushki

NUSHKI: An Afghan national was killed and three others, including the driver, were injured in alleged firing after a vehicle failed to stop near Kharan Cross in the Ahmedwal area of Nushki, sources said.
According to the sources, the incident allegedly involved Frontier Corps personnel. The vehicle was reportedly carrying Afghan nationals residing illegally in Pakistan and was travelling towards Quetta.
A 50-year-old Afghan national, identified as Gul Ahmed, died at the scene. The injured were identified as vehicle driver Zahid Mengal, a resident of Nushki, and two Afghan nationals, Abdul Karim and Allah Dad.
Following the incident, the body and the injured were shifted to the Government Teaching Hospital Nushki, where the injured are receiving medical treatment.
Further investigation into the incident is under way, while an official statement from the authorities is awaited.
