Female Folk Singer from Bugti Tribe Shot Dead in Dera Bugti

DERA MURAD JAMALI: A female folk singer belonging to the Bugti tribe was shot dead by armed men in the Dera Bugti area, according to police officials.

Police said Mai Sobhayi Bugti, described as the first female folk singer from the Bugti tribe, was targeted by armed assailants who opened fire on her before fleeing the scene.

Police officials said an investigation into the incident is underway.
