PTI MNA Haji Imtiaz Ahmed Arrested Over Alleged Encroachment on State Land

Mandi Bahauddin: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Member of the National Assembly Haji Imtiaz Ahmed Chaudhry has been arrested by the Anti-Corruption Establishment in Mandi Bahauddin.

According to 24 News, the PTI lawmaker was arrested in connection with two cases registered with the Anti-Corruption Establishment in 2024.

The MNA has been accused of allegedly occupying government land and manipulating the official record to alter his son’s date of birth.

Following his arrest, Haji Imtiaz Ahmed was presented before the relevant court, which sent him to jail on 15 days’ judicial remand.

The cases against the lawmaker were registered in 2024, and the Anti-Corruption Establishment initiated action in connection with the allegations.
