“Key Federal Minister Met Close PTI Leader in London”: Naeem Ashraf Butt Claims

Islamabad: Journalist Naeem Ashraf Butt has claimed that a key federal minister recently held a secret meeting in London with a prominent leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) who is considered close to both PTI founder Imran Khan and his wife, Bushra Bibi.
According to Butt, the PTI leader is regarded as being particularly close to Bushra Bibi and is respectfully referred to as “Murshid.” He further claimed that the federal minister in question had previously held similar political meetings after sensing a shift in the political situation.
Butt said he had been consistently reporting on behind-the-scenes political developments since February this year. He recalled reporting on February 13 that Bushra Bibi had become active in political and administrative affairs.
He said that on March 9, he reported a third serious attempt to resolve the ongoing political issues. On May 23, a senior PTI leader reportedly claimed, “Saadi gal ho gayi ae,” meaning that talks had taken place.

Butt further claimed that on June 17, he had reported that Imran Khan was brought to a hospital at night, where important meetings were also held.
Discussing the possible future political setup, Butt claimed that three to four prominent technocrats had already been formally approached for potential roles in the next government setup.
He said the technocrats were asked about various ministries, with some expressing willingness to accept the positions offered, while others indicated a preference for different ministries or portfolios.
Butt said the future arrangement could be called an “interim government” or a “national government,” but, in practical terms, the underlying concept would remain the same.
He claimed that political changes were rapidly progressing behind the scenes, suggesting that significant developments could emerge in the coming days.
