Government Seeks Names from All Parties for Parliamentary Probe into PIMS Tragedy

Islamabad:The government has sought nominations from all political parties to ensure representation in a joint parliamentary committee tasked with investigating the PIMS tragedy.
The National Assembly on Friday approved a resolution calling for the formation of a joint parliamentary committee to conduct an investigation into the incident.
According to sources, the government has asked all political parties to submit the names of their representatives for the committee. The joint parliamentary committee will include members from all parties.
Parliamentary sources said the notification for the committee will be issued as soon as the government receives the nominations from the political parties.
The committee is expected to examine the circumstances surrounding the PIMS tragedy and determine responsibility for the incident.
