PML-N Does Not Know How to Build or Counter Political Narratives: Mansoor Ali Khan

ISLAMABAD: Prominent anchorperson Mansoor Ali Khan has sharply criticized the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) over its media strategy, arguing that the ruling party lacks the ability to develop an effective political narrative or counter its opponents in the current political and digital environment.
Speaking on his podcast, Mansoor Ali Khan said the PML-N leadership and its media teams appeared unable to understand how narrative-building works or how competing political narratives should be challenged.
He said the battle over political narratives required seriousness, arguments and a well-planned strategy, but claimed the ruling party appeared to be failing in this important area.
منصور علی خان pic.twitter.com/O0wIM7Hx65

Criticizing the performance of the PML-N’s digital and social media team in Islamabad, Mansoor Ali Khan questioned whether producing a few humorous videos and engaging in mockery could actually create an effective political narrative.
He argued that political communication in the current digital era required a comprehensive strategy rather than relying solely on social media content and ridicule.
The anchorperson’s comments came amid an increasingly competitive political and digital media environment in Pakistan, where political parties are using social media platforms extensively to promote their positions and respond to opponents.
