Islamabad:Zong 4G, a leading telecommunications operator in Pakistan, has expanded its data network by more than 400 foreign sites during the first half of 2024.
According to the company, this achievement solidifies Zong 4G’s position as Pakistan’s second-largest data network provider, committed to ensuring connectivity for 49 million users across the country.
The company stated that this extensive and reliable connectivity initiative reflects Zong 4G’s determination to enhance customer experiences and meet challenges head-on through innovative network upgrades. Zong 4G has transitioned from 2T2R technology to the advanced 8T8R technology and is focusing on improving user experiences in remote areas through projects aligned with the CPEC route.
Highlighting its commitment to network stability, Zong 4G completed over 1400 power upgrades, including the integration of Li-Ion solutions known for their fast charging capabilities and extended battery life compared to traditional power banks.
