YouTuber Ducky Bhai Responds to Bushra Ansari’s Criticism on Content Creators

Popular Pakistani YouTuber, Ducky Bhai (Saad ur Rehman), recently responded to actress Bushra Ansari’s comments about YouTubers, stating that he does not know her and only recognizes her face as an actress. The YouTuber made these remarks during his appearance on a podcast, where he candidly discussed various topics.
In the podcast, the host played a clip of Bushra Ansari, where she criticized YouTubers, calling them an unknown “creature” and expressing disbelief over their rising popularity and earnings. After watching the clip, Ducky Bhai responded by saying, “I don’t know Bushra Ansari. I only know her face, and I know she is an actress.”
He went on to criticize actors, claiming that they are suffering from an inferiority complex. He pointed out that the world has moved beyond television, and it is unfair to dismiss the success of others, especially YouTubers. Ducky Bhai remarked, “I don’t understand the people who’ve been watching the same kind of dramas for 20 years. Should I start insulting them and saying they have no brains? That would be wrong.”
The YouTuber further added, “All the people in the TV industry are dead, and they’re suffering from an inferiority complex. They do nothing—if I say this, they will get upset. You get picked up from home in a car, someone else does your makeup, another writes your script, and you just dance to the director’s tune.”
Ducky Bhai also addressed the declining popularity of television, stating that TV is no longer relevant, and more people are turning to social media. He praised Hania Amir for making a successful transition to social media, saying, “She joined social media at the right time, and now she has her own audience there.”
This controversy follows remarks made by Bushra Ansari during a recent Ramadan transmission on a private TV channel, where she expressed surprise at the success of YouTubers, saying, “I don’t know who these creatures are making millions and billions of rupees. We live in a different world.” She also mentioned that she was surprised by the content of YouTubers, claiming they don’t even know how to speak properly.
Earlier, actor and producer Fahad Mustafa also criticized YouTubers, saying they lack original content and often exploit their family members for views, even filming at graveyards for prayers. In response to Fahad Mustafa’s criticism, YouTuber Rajab Butt fired back, suggesting that actors also profit from their families and exposing the truth about how roles in dramas are obtained.
The ongoing debate highlights the growing divide between traditional television actors and the new wave of digital content creators in Pakistan.
