Wheat and Flour Prices See Significant Drop in Punjab Amid Market Crash

Punjab has witnessed a notable decrease in wheat and flour prices following a crash in the market. According to reports, the price of new wheat coming from Sindh has dropped by 400 rupees per maund, bringing the price down from 2,865 rupees to 2,460 rupees per maund.
As a result, the price of a 20-kilogram flour bag has decreased by 100 rupees, now ranging between 1,450 to 1,500 rupees. With the arrival of the new wheat crop in Punjab expected in the coming days, it is anticipated that wheat prices in the province’s grain markets will further drop to between 2,200 and 2,300 rupees per maund.
