WhatsApp to Introduce Multi-Account Feature for iOS Users

WhatsApp is preparing to roll out a new feature that will allow users to log into multiple accounts on a single device. According to a report by WABetaInfo, the multi-account feature has already been introduced in the beta version of WhatsApp for iOS devices.

This feature had previously appeared in the beta version for Android devices. The new update allows users to access multiple accounts within a single app, eliminating the need for additional devices to manage different accounts.

**How it Works**

In WhatsApp’s settings, users will be able to enable or manage multiple accounts easily. This feature is particularly useful for individuals who use dual SIM phones or have more than one phone number. It will also benefit users who need to manage both WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business accounts.

According to the report, two options will be available for adding accounts. Users can either set up a new primary account or add an existing account by scanning a QR code. Each account will operate independently, meaning notifications, chat histories, backups, and settings will remain separate. However, switching between accounts may require restarting the app.

**Availability and Future Plans**

Currently, this feature is in its beta version, making it difficult to predict when it will be fully available for iOS or Android users. However, it is expected that the feature will be rolled out to all users in the coming months.
