Snowfall may lead to slippery roads and the risk of landslides or avalanches in mountainous areas. Additionally, dense fog is expected to persist in the plains of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and upper Sindh.

According to the meteorological department, a powerful westerly wind system is currently affecting the upper regions of the country, and it is expected to persist until January 6.
