Islamabad:The Meteorological Department has forecasted continued hot and humid weather for Karachi in the next 24 hours. There is also a possibility of scattered thunderstorms accompanied by lightning in some parts of the city.
According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature recorded in the city is 32.5 degrees Celsius, while temperatures could range between 36 to 38 degrees Celsius. The humidity level in the air is 80%, and the sea breezes are moving at a speed of 18 kilometers per hour.
The Meteorological Department further mentioned that rain is expected in various cities and regions of Balochistan, including Quetta, Zhob, Barkhan, Musa Khel, Sherani, Kohlu, Hernai, Loralai, Nasirabad, Jaffarabad, Jhal Magsi, Dera Bugti, Sibi, Khuzdar, Qila Abdullah, Ziarat, and Mastung.
The department also highlighted that other parts of Balochistan are likely to experience hot and humid weather. Turbat, Nokkundi, Dalbandin, Sibi, and Gwadar are currently facing intense heat. Yesterday, Turbat recorded a temperature of 48 degrees Celsius, setting a new record for high temperatures.
