Water Crisis Intensifies in Hub and Gadani, Locals Demand Immediate Action

Hub:The water crisis in Hub and Gadani has worsened, causing severe difficulties for the local population. The scarcity of clean drinking water has forced residents to purchase water at inflated prices. Locals have strongly criticized the performance of the Public Health Department and the Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Hub for their failure to provide a reliable water supply. They stated that due to the lack of water availability, they are now at the mercy of the water tanker mafia, which is charging exorbitant rates.

Citizens have expressed their frustration, pointing out that both the Public Health Department and the district administration have completely failed to address the issue. People are being forced to search for water, a basic necessity, in a desperate manner. Furthermore, it has been reported that water from the Hub area is being illegally transferred to Karachi with the help of the police and district administration.

The residents have voiced their anger, accusing the authorities of negligence and corruption, which has left the people of Hub and Gadani deprived of their fundamental right to water. Public outrage is growing over the illegal transfer of water, and affected citizens are demanding immediate action from the government and higher authorities.

Locals have warned that if the water supply is not restored promptly, they will expand their protests by staging sit-ins on major roads and in front of government offices. They have called on the authorities to take urgent steps to resolve the water crisis and ensure its availability for the local population.
