Lahore: Following his dismissal from the national team selection committee, former fast bowler Wahab Riaz has also been removed from his role as the senior team manager, sources report.
During the series against Bangladesh, decisions have been made to introduce new faces into the team management, alongside the exclusion of Mansoor Rana, who played a managerial role alongside Wahab Riaz. The PCB is expected to announce the new administrative team soon.
The decision to remove Wahab Riaz and Mansoor Rana from management positions reportedly stems from their conduct and complaints received. Wahab Riaz was handling responsibilities as the senior team manager for tours to Ireland, England, and the T20 World Cup as part of the national team selection committee.
