Veteran Indian Actor Ravi Kumar Menon Passes Away at 71
Chennai:Renowned Indian actor Ravi Kumar Menon, known for his work in Tamil and Malayalam cinema, passed away at the age of 71. According to Indian media reports, he had been battling cancer for a prolonged period. Menon breathed his last on Friday morning at a private hospital in Chennai.
His son confirmed the news of his passing, and as soon as the news broke, fans on social media expressed their heartfelt condolences and deep sorrow.
Ravi Kumar began his film career in 1967, but it was in 1976, with the Malayalam film *Amma* directed by M. Krishnan Nair, that he rose to fame. Over the years, Menon appeared in over 100 Malayalam and Tamil films, along with several television series, making a significant impact on Indian cinema.
His last rites will be performed on Saturday at his residence in Chennai.
