Unidentified Armed Individuals Block Roads, Burn Vehicles, and Target Passengers in Various Areas of Balochistan

In Balochistan, unknown armed assailants carried out multiple attacks in different regions, including Bolan, Mastung, Pasni, and Turbat, blocking highways, burning several vehicles, and checking the identification cards of passengers and drivers. The local administration responded by halting vehicles in various areas. In Washuk, armed assailants seized a vehicle, motorcycles, and weapons from the Levies force.

Details indicate that last night, armed individuals set up a blockade at Sheikh Wasal in Nushki. In addition, in Washuk’s Nag Tehsil, armed men attacked a Levies police station, taking away one vehicle, two motorcycles, and weapons. Meanwhile, in a separate incident reported by Urdu News, armed individuals stopped a bus traveling from Gwadar to Karachi near the town of Kalmat, approximately 150 kilometers from Gwadar. After checking the passengers’ identification cards, seven individuals were forced off the bus.

Deputy Commissioner of Gwadar, Hamood-ur-Rehman, confirmed the incident, noting that the attackers had checked the ID cards of several passengers before removing them from the bus. This incident occurred on the Makran Coastal Highway, which connects Gwadar to Karachi.

According to SP Makran Coastal Highway, Abdul Hafeez, the attackers killed five individuals by shooting them and left one other severely injured. In a separate attack in Mastung, a police officer succumbed to his injuries. These incidents highlight the increasing security concerns in the region and the growing presence of armed groups.
