Two Nurses Caught Stealing Medicines at Hyderabad Civil Hospital

Two nurses have been arrested for stealing medicines at Hyderabad’s Civil Hospital. According to Dr. Faizan Memon, the Assistant Medical Superintendent of the hospital, the two nurses had been involved in the theft of medicines for a considerable period.

Dr. Memon revealed that complaints had been received regarding the thefts, after which a covert operation was carried out, resulting in the nurses being caught red-handed. During the operation, the nurses were found with handbags filled with medicines in addition to shopping bags full of stolen drugs.

The recovered medicines were all high-priced items typically sold at pharmacies. The two nurses were assigned to the pediatric ward at the time of the theft.

As a result of the incident, their services have been terminated by the Health Secretariat, and an inquiry committee has been formed to investigate the matter further.
