He urged Iran to strike a deal before it was too late, stressing that the country should have entered negotiations earlier to avoid facing a dire situation.
Trump emphasized that the U.S. is committed to preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons, stating that any such threat is taken very seriously by the American government.
“Iran should have made a deal, but they didn’t,” said President Trump. “Now, they need to strike a deal before they have nothing left.”
The former U.S. president also reiterated that while he was aware of Israel’s plans, the U.S. military had not played any role in the recent military operation in Iran. Trump expressed hope that Iran would return to the negotiating table to help restore peace and stability to the region.
