Trump Administration Prepares for Largest Deportation List in U.S. History

New York: As President Joe Biden’s administration comes to an end and President Donald Trump prepares to take office, the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has begun preparations for what could become the largest deportation operation in U.S. history. According to reports, ICE has compiled a list of approximately 1.5 million individuals who could be deported from the United States.
Among the individuals listed, around 18,000 are Indian nationals, who may potentially face deportation from the U.S. The ICE has made it clear that one of Trump’s top priorities for border security is to remove immigrants living in the U.S. with fraudulent documents.
Trump had previously discussed making significant changes upon taking office on January 20th. In an interview, he stated that it was imperative to fulfill all his campaign promises, including deporting all illegal immigrants from the country and revoking birthright citizenship.
When asked about his plans during his term, Trump confirmed that over the next four years, he would work toward deporting illegal immigrants from the U.S. He emphatically stated, “Absolutely, that’s what needs to be done.”
