Truck Carrying 8 Drones Seized in Tehran; Israeli Drone Shot Down by Iran
Tehran – Iranian authorities have seized a truck loaded with eight drones in the capital city of Tehran, according to local media reports. The operation was carried out in the Pishva district, located in southwestern Tehran, where a raid was conducted on a suspected drone manufacturing facility.
Iranian news agencies report that this seizure comes shortly after revelations that Israel’s intelligence agency, Mossad, had established a secret drone base inside Iran.
In a separate development, Iran claims to have shot down an Israeli drone over Isfahan. The downed drone was identified as a Hermes 900, an advanced Israeli unmanned aerial vehicle. Iranian state media released video footage of the drone’s wreckage.
The Israeli military has confirmed the loss of its drone, though it has not provided further details on the incident. Tensions between Iran and Israel remain high, with both nations frequently accusing each other of espionage and covert attacks.
