The union leaders addressed local journalists, urging all coal and vehicle owners in Balochistan to comply with the ongoing ban on coal loading. They emphasized that the loading of coal has been completely halted until a permanent solution is found for vehicles involved in transporting coal to the city’s burning plants. The union has warned that the protest will continue until the issue is resolved.

Further, they stated that any vehicle found violating the ban will face a penalty of one lakh rupees, and the coal being transported will be confiscated. To ensure continuous monitoring, a supervisory camp has been set up on the Zhob-Quetta National Highway, where union workers will be stationed 24/7 to oversee compliance.

The union leadership made it clear that this protest aims to address serious concerns over the welfare of transporters and to seek a long-term resolution for coal transport issues.
