Tragedy Strikes Karachi’s Beaches as Three Individuals Drown

Karachi: Karachi’s coastal areas witnessed a tragic incident as three individuals lost their lives due to drowning. At Hawksbay Beach, five people, including four women, were swept into the sea. Promptly notified, lifeguards and rescue personnel swiftly responded and rescued the five individuals from the sea in an unconscious state.
According to police reports, a man suffered a fatal cardiac arrest during transportation to the hospital, while the women who drowned were admitted to the hospital, where one woman remains under medical care.
The deceased individuals, identified as Rashid and Noreen, were residents of Liaquatabad Number 3 and Gajjar Nala respectively.
In a separate incident, three friends were caught in the sea at Clifton Beach, among whom a young man named Danish drowned. Danish, a resident of Sultanabad, aged 24, was recovered deceased after divers conducted a search.
Authorities emphasize the importance of adhering to safety protocols and caution beachgoers, especially during adverse sea conditions.
