Gadani:On the occasion of Ashura, a public holiday, tragedy struck when 12 individuals drowned while picnicking at Gadani Beach. According to reports, these individuals were swimming at the Gadani Picnic Point in the sea when the incident occurred. Ten of them were rescued by divers from the Gadani Municipal Committee, while the bodies of two individuals were recovered.
The deceased individuals have been identified as Waseef, son of Khala Khan, aged 24, and Asad, son of Muhammad Ameen, aged 20, both residents of Mansoora Colony, Karachi.
The bodies and those rescued in critical condition were transferred to Roral Health Center, Gadani. SHO Gadani, Judge Shake Baloch, informed that the deceased were originally from Mansoora Colony, Karachi.
