Tosha Khana II Case: No Charges Filed Against Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi Today

Rawalpindi: In the ongoing Tosha Khana II case, charges could not be framed against PTI Chairman Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi today. The hearing was conducted at the Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi by Special Judge Central Shah Rukh Arjumand. PTI’s lawyer Salman Safdar and Special Public Prosecutor Zulfiqar Abbas Naqvi appeared in court, while Bushra Bibi did not attend.
Salman Safdar, the defense lawyer, informed the court that his client, Bushra Bibi, had gone to the Peshawar High Court to obtain bail in newly registered cases. He assured the court that she had surrendered before the Peshawar High Court and would appear in court on Monday. The defense requested the hearing to be postponed until then.
However, Special Public Prosecutor Zulfiqar Abbas Naqvi opposed this, claiming that Bushra Bibi was deliberately avoiding court appearances. He requested the issuance of non-bailable arrest warrants against her.
The court subsequently adjourned the hearing in the Tosha Khana II case against Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi until Thursday, December 5.
