TLP Leader Faces Legal Action Over Threats Against Chief Justice

Lahore: Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan’s deputy Amir has been charged for issuing threats to Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Faiz Isa. A case has been registered against Pir Zaheer-ul-Hasan Shah at Gajju Matta police station in Lahore, based on a complaint filed by SHO Hamad Hussain.
The charges include sections related to terrorism, spreading religious hatred, inciting violence, pressuring the judiciary, threatening the judiciary, interfering in governmental affairs, and obstructing legal duties.
According to the FIR, Pir Zaheer-ul-Hasan, outside the press club, incited hatred against the judiciary, and TLP’s deputy Amir publicly announced a reward of 10 million rupees for anyone who beheads Justice Faiz Isa.
Cases have been registered against 1500 individuals, including TLP’s deputy Amir. On the other hand, Defense Minister Khawaja Asif has vowed strict action against those threatening Chief Justice, stating the state will not tolerate calls for murder.
