Thieves Rob Three Shops in Surab Bazaar, Traders Strike in Protest
Quetta:In Surab Bazaar, thieves successfully broke into three shops, making off with millions of rupees worth of goods and cash. As a result, traders have gone on a complete shutter-down strike in the market to protest the incident.
According to reports, the theft took place between Thursday and Friday night when unidentified thieves simultaneously broke into the three shops, looting valuable merchandise and cash. This has led to widespread frustration among the local business community.
In response to the robbery, the district administration of Surab has initiated an investigation to track down the culprits. Meanwhile, the traders’ community has given the district administration a one-hour deadline to apprehend the thieves, failing which they have vowed to escalate their protest. The situation remains tense as both law enforcement and local business owners await action.
