Quetta:According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of thunderstorms and lightning accompanied by rain in the districts of Zhob, Sherani, Musa Khel, Barkhan, Kohlu, Loralai, Sibi, Harnai, Ziarat, Quetta, Qila Abdullah, Qila Saifullah, Nasirabad, Dera Bugti, Jaffarabad, Kalat, Khuzdar, Lasbela, Awaran, Kech, Turbat, and Panjgur.
The department reported that yesterday, areas of Ziarat, Harnai, Duki, Musa Khel, Loralai experienced rainfall, while Quetta received light rain. Flash flooding occurred in the valleys of Ziarat and surrounding areas due to thunder and lightning, although the rain made the weather pleasant.
In the past 24 hours, Lasbela received 11 mm of rain, Qalat received 5 mm, and Panjgur received 1 mm of rainfall, according to the Meteorological Department.
Furthermore, the department highlighted that Sibi recorded the highest temperature yesterday, reaching 47 degrees Celsius, while Dalbandin and Nokkundi recorded 46 degrees and Quetta recorded 37 degrees Celsius, respectively, setting new temperature records.
