Panic ensued both on the ride and among onlookers below, who quickly alerted emergency services. However, **rescue efforts were delayed**, and according to reports, no help arrived for the first **two hours**, increasing the distress of those trapped.
One woman told an Indian news agency that they were left without any assistance for a long time. A young man said he used his mobile phone and Instagram account to reach out to the police for help.
