Tensions Rise Between Balochistan CM Sardar Sarfraz Bugti and Provincial Minister Ali Hassan Zehri
Quetta:Tensions have escalated between Balochistan’s Chief Minister, Sardar Sarfraz Bugti, and Provincial Minister Ali Hassan Zehri following a heated exchange of words over key issues including appointments, new recruitments, and land allotments.
According to reports from Samaa News, the disagreement took place at the Chief Minister’s House. Provincial Minister for Agriculture, Ali Hassan Zehri, demanded the appointment of preferred officers. In response, CM Sarfraz Bugti emphasized that as head of a coalition government, he could not make unilateral appointments or decisions against merit. This led to a sharp exchange between the two.
Despite efforts by PPP leaders to mediate and resolve the issue, Minister Zehri, who is known to be a close ally of former President Asif Ali Zardari, stormed off in anger. This comes after a controversial statement made by Zehri during his oath-taking ceremony at the Governor House.
