Islamabad: The conflict between the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has intensified, with both sides launching investigations against each other.
According to sources, the FBR and FIA are conducting inquiries into the officers of the opposing agency. The FIA has summoned FBR’s Member Operations, Mir Badshah Khan Wazir, once again, this time requesting detailed information about his assets.
In response, Mir Badshah Khan Wazir has utilized his authority to assign tax officials the task of gathering information about the assets of FIA officers.
