Teaching Hospital Turbat Suffers Due to Power System Failure

Turbat:The Teaching Hospital in Turbat has been severely affected by the breakdown of its solar power system, leaving patients suffering from intense heat and needing critical care to be transferred to distant hospitals. According to reports, due to the absence of electricity and the malfunctioning solar system, no treatments or operations could be conducted at the hospital.

Patients in the intensive care unit endured extreme discomfort as attendants resorted to manually fanning them to provide relief. The situation in the wards has deteriorated significantly, with all hospital machinery shut down. Local patients are facing acute hardships, as the hospital lacks facilities for X-rays, ultrasounds, and other essential medical tests despite having allocated funds.

The hospital staff, including doctors and other officials, are reported to be idle due to the lack of both medicines and electricity. They are reportedly receiving salaries without performing duties, forcing patients either to seek private healthcare or to travel long distances for treatment.

According to hospital administration, there are currently no generators operational at the Teaching Hospital, and although a solar system has been installed, it remains non-functional. Community leaders have urgently demanded the restoration of electricity at the Teaching Hospital and the effective utilization of the solar system to alleviate the suffering of local residents.
