Tahir Bizenjo Criticizes Failure to Address Missing Persons Issue, Urges for Immediate Action

Quetta:Tahir Bizenjo, central committee leader of the National Party and former senator, has criticized the lack of serious action taken by top national leaders regarding the issue of missing persons. In a recent video message, Bizenjo argued that if the families of the missing persons had received justice, there would be no need for the Baloch Unity Committee to continuously hold protest sit-ins.

Bizenjo pointed out that Presidents Asif Ali Zardari, Imran Khan, and the Sharif brothers have all failed to address the problem of missing persons with the seriousness it demands. He emphasized that unrest, anxiety, and injustice arise in human societies, and had the grievances of the families been addressed, the ongoing protests would have been unnecessary.

He called on President Asif Ali Zardari, former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif to honor their previous commitments to the families of missing persons. Instead of using force against peaceful protests by the Baloch Unity Committee, Bizenjo urged that their legitimate demands be immediately addressed.

Bizenjo asserted that the demands of the Baloch Unity Committee are fair and justified, and he called for their prompt acceptance.
