Suspect Arrested in Gruesome Child Murder Case in Quetta

Quetta:Police have arrested a suspect involved in the recent murder of an 8-year-old boy in Quetta. The suspect, identified as Mushtaq Hussain, 15, reportedly planned the crime after being influenced by crime shows and mobile games.

According to SSP Operations Muhammad Baloch and other officials, the incident occurred on September 20, 2024, in the New Hazara Town area near Husainian Park. The victim, Arman Ali, was found brutally slain with multiple stab wounds, and attempts were made to burn the body.

The investigation revealed that the suspect lured the boy, who was playing with a kite, into a secluded area under the pretext of offering him juice. After committing the crime, he attempted to conceal it by setting the body on fire.
