Lahore: Former Prime Minister and President of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Nawaz Sharif, has expressed surprise at the Supreme Court’s recent decision regarding reserved seats. According to media reports, Nawaz Sharif met with senior PML-N leaders where the Supreme Court’s verdict was discussed extensively.
Reports suggest that Nawaz Sharif, while expressing his astonishment at the verdict, has called for a crucial meeting on Monday to further deliberate on the matter. Sources indicate that significant decisions may be made under Nawaz Sharif’s leadership during the meeting.
It should be noted that the Supreme Court of Pakistan issued directives on reserved seats for PTI yesterday, in a decision aligned with the proportions of seats allocated for the period of 5-8.
