Supreme Court Issues Judges’ Roster and Regular Cause List for Upcoming Week
Islamabad:The Supreme Court of Pakistan has released the judges’ roster and regular cause list for the upcoming week. The benches are as follows: Bench 1 will consist of Justice Mansoor Ali Shah, Justice Ayesha Malik, and Justice Aqeel Abbasi; Bench 2 will feature Justice Muneeb Akhtar, Justice Athar Minallah, and Justice Shahid Waheed; Bench 3 includes Justice Aminuddin Khan, Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar, and Justice Hassan Azhar Rizvi; Bench 4 will be headed by Justice Jamal Khan Mandokhel, Justice Musarrat Hilali, and Justice Naeem Akhtar Afghan; Bench 5 will have Justice Irfan Saadat Khan, Justice Malik Shehzad, and Justice Shahid Bilal; and Bench 6 will consist of Justice Sardar Tariq Masood and Justice Mazhar Alam Mian Khil.
A two-member bench, comprising Chief Justice Yahya Khan Afridi and Justice Malik Shehzad, will be available only on December 13 in Islamabad. Meanwhile, a petition filed by former National Assembly member Adil Bazai, challenging the Election Commission’s decision to de-seat him, has been scheduled for hearing. The Supreme Court will hear the appeal on December 9, with a three-member bench led by Justice Mansoor Ali Shah. The Election Commission had de-seated Adil Bazai for violating party policies.
