Quetta:Sammi Din Baloch, Secretary General of the Social Contact website, affiliated with Quetta’s “Qudrat” newspaper, has stated that negotiations between the Balochistan government and Baloch protesters have been successful. In his statement on the website, he criticized the government for resorting to allegations against Dr. Mehreng Baloch and other activists instead of seeking peaceful solutions. He highlighted recent actions such as filing FIRs against Dr. Mehreng Baloch and others, as well as incidents of burning police vehicles, which he believes exacerbate tensions in the region. He emphasized that acknowledging such actions is crucial for state authorities to address the issue of enforced disappearances in Balochistan effectively.
