Quetta:After 13 days of continuous protest sit-in by the relatives of missing persons associated with Balida, Pidarok, Shayken, Apsar, and other localities, negotiations with the administration led by Mir Hotman Baloch, Chairman of Kech District Council, were successful. The series of negotiations concluded on Thursday evening outside the DC office in Turbat city, following discussions facilitated by Mir Hotman Baloch and SSP Kech, Zia Mandokhel.
During these negotiations, various rounds were held but did not yield success until Thursday, when Mir Hotman Baloch and SSP Zia Mandokhel assured the organizers of the protest sit-in regarding the recovery of missing persons within the next few days. Consequently, the participants of the sit-in announced the end of their 13-day protest.
Notable local figures present during the negotiations included Is’haq Roshan Dashti, President of the Traders Association Turbat, along with Ajaz Ali Mohammad Joscie, Fadashir Joscie, and BSO Pajjar leaders Yasser Bibi Gar, among other respected regional leaders.
It is evident that the protest sit-in by the relatives of missing persons significantly impacted governmental affairs in Kech district.
