Panjgur:Students, including Mehreen Khan and Fazil Ahmed, addressed a press conference at the University of Makran, Panjgur, highlighting critical issues faced by the university. They expressed concern over the lack of basic facilities, citing the unavailability of cold drinking water on campus. Students reported having to purchase water from outside due to inadequate provisions. Furthermore, they noted that during power outages, generators remain inactive, exacerbating difficulties in the scorching heat.
The students lamented the absence of motorcycle parking, canteen facilities, and projectors in classrooms essential for presentations. They criticized the university administration for not addressing these issues despite repeated notifications. Allegedly, students have been silenced with threats when attempting to raise these concerns.
Appealing to Governor Balochistan, the students urged immediate action to resolve these fundamental issues and improve facilities for students at the university.
