Islamabad:On the first day of the business week, Pakistan Stock Exchange is experiencing a downturn. The 100 Index has dropped by 414 points, reaching 79,703 points. Last week concluded with the index plummeting by 1,721 points to close at 80,118 points.

Stock brokers attribute the decline to technical corrections and rollover week effects. Increased selling pressure in the market is observed as investors aim to secure profits.
