Stable Rupee Value Against Dollar, Minor Drop in Interbank Market

Karachi: The Pakistani Rupee has experienced a slight depreciation against the US Dollar in the interbank market today. As the trading session began, the value of the US Dollar dropped by 3 paisas, reducing to 278.10 PKR.
Despite this minor decline, the broader market showed positive signs. The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) saw a surge as the benchmark KSE-100 Index touched an all-time high. On the last trading day of the week, the index gained 472 points, reaching a historic peak of 114,653 points. Meanwhile, the exchange rate for the US Dollar in the open market also saw a decrease.
