Special Session Held with General Officer Commanding Gwadar Division at Pak-China Technical and Vocational Institute
Gwadar:A special session was organized at the Pak-China Technical and Vocational Institute, Gwadar, where faculty members and students had the opportunity to meet with the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the Gwadar Division. The GOC was the chief guest at the event, which focused on a detailed briefing about the situation in Balochistan.
During the session, participants were provided with an in-depth briefing about regional issues, and students and faculty had the chance to ask questions. The GOC praised the University of Gwadar and the Pak-China Institute for their pivotal role in leading an educational revolution in Balochistan.
The Pak-China Technical and Vocational Institute, established with a $10 million grant from CPEC (China-Pakistan Economic Corridor), aims to empower local youth through vocational training. The institute, affiliated with Shandong Institute of Commerce and Technology (SICT), offers free courses and diploma programs in maritime, e-commerce, and software development.
The chief guest emphasized the importance of national unity and urged students to contribute positively to the country’s development. He highlighted that educated youth are the true driving force behind a nation’s progress and commended the immense talent and hard work of Balochistan’s youth.
At the end of the ceremony, both students and faculty expressed their gratitude and appreciation for the efforts of the Pakistan Army in Gwadar and thanked them for their continued support.
