Islamabad:Pakistani-American actress Somi Ali has made serious allegations against Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, claiming that he had one of his household staff members, Najma, sent to spy on her activities. In an interview with Indian media, Somi Ali revealed that the maid had informed her that Salman Khan had asked her to stay with Somi to monitor her daily routines, the people she interacted with, and even who visited her apartment.
Somi Ali further detailed that she suspected the maid was sent as a “spy” to report back to Salman Khan. She also recounted a disturbing incident where Salman allegedly physically assaulted her. She recalled that during one altercation, a 45-year-old maid had knocked on the door and told Salman to stop hitting Somi and instead “hit me.” Somi described the abuse, mentioning how her neck had turned black and blue from the slaps Salman Khan allegedly delivered.
In the past, Somi Ali has accused Salman Khan of exploiting and humiliating her for eight years, making her feel worthless and isolated. She claimed that Salman Khan’s behavior made it seem as though he was doing her a favor by having a relationship with her. According to Somi, for several years, Salman Khan refused to acknowledge her as his girlfriend, and when he finally did, he allegedly humiliated her in front of others.
Somi Ali, who was born in Karachi, Pakistan, had a brief career in Bollywood in the 1990s, acting alongside some of the biggest stars like Saif Ali Khan, Govinda, Sanjay Dutt, Mithun Chakraborty, and Suniel Shetty. She had moved to India at the age of 16 from the United States to pursue a career in acting.
These allegations have sparked a new wave of discussion within the Indian entertainment industry, as Somi Ali’s claims shed light on the darker side of her past relationship with Salman Khan.
