Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori Dismisses Rumors of Replacement
Islamabad: Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori has dismissed rumors regarding a possible change in his position, stating that he will continue his duties as long as he retains the confidence of the President, Prime Minister, and Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui.
According to Express News, Governor Tessori made these comments during a press briefing with Imam of the Mosque of the Prophet Dr. Salah bin Muhammad, who visited the Sindh House in Islamabad today. Tessori hosted a reception in Dr. Muhammad’s honor, where various mutual interests were discussed.
Tessori expressed his gratitude for Dr. Muhammad’s visit, highlighting the significance of the occasion and thanking Saudi Arabia for its support. He noted that Dr. Muhammad’s visit was beneficial, with discussions including prayers for Pakistan’s security and economic recovery.
Tessori emphasized his commitment to service, stating, “I will continue to work as long as I have the confidence of the President, Prime Minister, and Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui.” He also mentioned that his administration has fulfilled promises such as opening the Governor’s House to the public.
In a related media interaction, Farooq Sattar addressed ongoing speculations about the Governor’s position, asserting that such discussions have not been formally addressed. He praised Tessori for his popularity and for the visible public welfare efforts at the Governor’s House, which, according to Sattar, are unmatched elsewhere.
