Sindh Government Announces Task Force for Karachi’s Beautification and Development

The Sindh government has announced the formation of a task force dedicated to the beautification and development of Karachi. A notification has been issued by the Services General Administration Department regarding the new task force.
According to the spokesperson of the Chief Secretary of Sindh, Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab has been appointed as the chairman of the task force. The task force will also include the Commissioner of Karachi and other relevant officials.
The task force’s primary responsibilities will include overseeing the restoration and beautification of the city’s key roads, as well as addressing issues related to encroachments, illegal parking, and sewage problems.
The spokesperson stated that plans are in place for the improvement of major roads in Karachi, including Shahrah-e-Faisal, Shahrah-e-Quaidin, Shershah Suri Road, and others. Development work will be carried out on these roads, including Abdullah Haroon Road and I.I. Chundrigar Road.
Furthermore, the Sindh government has directed all relevant institutions to cooperate with the task force in executing these development projects.
