Significant Increase in Agricultural Exports Due to Special Investment Facilitation (SIFC)

The facilitation provided by the Special Investment Facilitation (SIFC) has led to a remarkable increase in Pakistan’s agricultural exports. The improved market access, driven by SIFC, has significantly boosted agricultural exports, particularly to key international markets.
A standout achievement has been the 179% increase in Pakistan’s sesame seed exports to China, marking a significant breakthrough in the global market. In the first two months of 2025, Pakistan exported 22,740 metric tons of sesame seeds to China, reflecting strong growth in agricultural trade.
This notable rise in sesame exports is expected to promote Pakistan’s agricultural sector and bring stability to its economy. The growth in exports is a result of enhanced agricultural productivity, modern farming techniques, and the easing of trade barriers.
The improvements in trade are anticipated to further stabilize foreign exchange reserves and provide an additional boost to the economy. With SIFC’s support, the access of agricultural products to global markets will contribute positively to Pakistan’s economic stability.
