Shir Afzal Marwat Calls Qasim Suri’s Allegations False, Joins Barrister Saif in Rebuttal
Islamabad:After Barrister Saif, the Information Adviser to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister, PTI leader Shir Afzal Marwat has also labeled Qasim Suri’s claims as false.
In a talk show hosted by Absar Alam, when asked about Suri’s recent post on X (formerly Twitter), which suggested that PTI’s founder was given some harmful substance that could affect his mental balance, Marwat dismissed the allegations. He questioned why such claims were being made and added that no such information had reached anyone in Islamabad, suggesting that it was only being reported from Washington.
He further remarked that such statements only caused distress among the party workers, increasing their anxiety and fears. “The atmosphere is already filled with disappointments and darkness, and in such a situation, workers should be given hope,” he said. He assured that if there were ever genuine concerns, the party would speak out, as they have always done in the past.
Earlier, Barrister Saif had also denied Qasim Suri’s allegations, stating they were completely false. Additionally, PTI’s Secretary Information also rejected the claims made by Suri.
